Comp Cam 08-304-8 and LTR
I was wondering if ayone has experience using this cam(08-304-8) on a LTR setup? Specs are 210/220 .500/.510 114*. I was thinking of using this on my LTR set up. Either that or the LPE 74211 cam. I did think about the LPE 219 cam in an earlier post but I dont think it would be the best combo. I'm not sure what to go with.

I put the 08-502-8 218/224 495/503 112 lsa cam in with the LTR and with the stock chip still in I dropped 5 tenths.
Z28z, That is a pretty mild cam and should work fine with LTR.
Some chipwork will be needed to get it running perfect, but thats the case even with a stock engine.
I woudlnt give up on the lpe 219 Just yet.
I plan on building a 383 around that using stock LTR sometime in the future.
Of course, Who knows how well it will work ?

I thinking about the 219 cam also. Especially if I decide to go with the SuperRam later on. But I want it to perform good on the LTR set up also since thats what I'll be stuck with for now.
