New timing with Alum.l98 heads?

OK, with the higher compression, the timing would need to be advanced right?

Would a chip from corvette handle that, or is just better/easieer to do it by hand.

Oh, and are the vette heads and the zz3 heads the same casting #

You may not need more timing, it might run better with less. Just try it at different places, see what works better. Without reprogramming you're kinda limited, but just changing the base timing can help.
