vaccum lines ?
If you're still running the stock ECM on your TPi, about all you can do away with and not affect the ECM is the brake booster and HVAC controls, possibly the cruise control.
* The ECM requires an operating EGR, since the diagnostic temperature switch needs to react when the EGR is commanded open.
* You could eliminate the AIR management valve and its lines, but the O² sensor will not heat as fast, taking longer to achieve closed-loop. This can be remedied by installing a HO2S.
* You could also eliminate the FPR vacuum line, but you would constantly be running rich at low load and probably lean at WOT.
* You could eliminate teh PCV valve, but the engine will begin to build sludge deposits within a few weeks driving.
Other than that, disconnect whatever you want.
