SuperRam people. Have some problems

First off my Throttle cable is too long along with cruise control and my TV cable. Floored the blades open half way. I have like an inch gap in my cruise and it jerks into gear when put into drive. (TV cable is adjusted) There seems to be so much slack. Any ideas? Also when i rev it up and it come back down, it seems to come down so fast it stalls sometimes or bogs then comes back to normal idle. Car idles very smooth and has no vac leaks.. IAC is adjusted to 750 RPM at 15 counts.

My throttle cable was slightly off, not as much as yours it sounds though. As a temporary solution, I triple gasketed the TB to space it out enough to get the blades to open all the way.
With your engine stumbling it sounds like you may have some vac leaks, I'd check again. The SR is a chore to get sealed sometimes.
Couldn't tell you about the tranny if your TV cable is already adjusted.

Does your TV cable & throttle cable look like this ? If they are in the wrong places, that could be your problem.

Ricktpi, do you have a problem with your cables on the HSR? (when you have them in the correct locations of course) Mine bind because the cable bracket sticks out too far from the plenum. I had to take it to the local machine shop to shave off the flat place on the side of the plenum where the cable bracket goes.

Did you remember to run your TV cable under the plenum? It is supposed to be going through the runners themselves. I have seen a lot of people run it over the top with the accelerator and cruise cables and get themselves into this sort of thing.

Even though you have a smooth idle, there may still be a leak somewhere. Take a can of ether and spray around all of the gaskets and see if the RPM changes at all.
