OK, here's the deal...
I want to get rid of my A/C and air pump. How do I route the belt to do this? Do I need some type of A/C idler pulley? the 1LE A/C eliminator setup? Also, I am installing a UDP (possibly) so will that have any effect?
Thanks in advance for any info...
Please email direct, as I do not get in here all the time (can't access thirdgen.org from work- DAMN!)

This is a picture of what Nick Steel did. You have to measure the
length pretty
exactly (piece of string) , but going around the crank,WP, adjuster,
Alt, and P/S
in this fashion will get things all turning in the correct direction.

In the tech articles section of this site you'll find everything you need to know.
you'll need an a/c delete pulley and a slightly shorter belt. the length and the part number is in the tech article.

because of UD pulleys, and different tensioner
spring tensions.. It shouldn't be hard to do
with a piece of string and a friend... 8-)
Note: I forgot to mention that belt life will be
shortened with this method, because the ribs
of the belt ride on the tensioner, instead of
the flat back side of the belt..

I think the belt life might be ok, I'm running a setup on another car like that, except its the ribbed part of the belt against a flat water pump pulley. Not seeing any black dust, and the belt has been on there at least 20k miles. Dont see any sort of wear.
Take note of his upper radiator hose with that belt routing. You'll need to address that.

On my setup the flat side of the serp belt rides on the tensioner. If you route like it's routed in the tech article you'll be fine.
