New best on the siamese base GP
Finally sent this thing into the 13's today. 13.642 at an unknown MPH. By all rights, it should be 103.3 +/-, based on another run that had the same 1/8MPH. I plan on looking at the data logs and interpreting a MPH off that, see where it hits. There's still a bunch left in it, 2.18 60' time, and its still losing around a second or so on the 1-2 shift. Did beat 2 different 4thgen LS1 TA's though
Twice each
Tech side:
Changed exhaust. Previously was a lousy 2 1/2" Y into a 3" single cat, single 3" intermediate, fromaster, dual 2 1/2's out the back. Now its a much better 2 1/2" y into the single 3" intermediate and the rest is the same. I was thinking, what with the .6 and 4MPH, that the exhaust sucked before. 2 thoughts so far are either a dual 3" all the way back (would require some mods like a new cat heat shield, and mod to tranny crossmember) or a single of some sort (3" or 4"?) that would require different headers. New headers wouldnt be so bad I guess, these are small 1 5/8" now, would be stepping up to 1 3/4". Any thoughts? Its not an F-body (sorry) but I think the only major difference is I could run duals on this car without major problems. Running a 4" over the axle would be a problem however.

I think once you slap on some 1 and 3/4 headers, you won't have a need for two mufflers... with 1&3/4 and a good 3" catback I think your restriction will fade away like something that is here one second and then isn't... fades away. I dunno i'm bad at analogies =9 anyway my point was presented.
