Guys i have a 383 with mini ram afr 195 cc heads 9.8to1 comp 6" rods and 2400 stall converter in my 700 any suggestions would be appreciated thanks :hail:

 

What cam were you running in now,, or before?

Do you have the equipment to burn your own chips, or are you running an aftermarket management system?

I live in Pearl - You ever hang out at the Brandon Sonic on Friday night? I'm getting a little old for the cruise scene myself,,, but I may try it this week since it looks like the Lena track may be closed for the year.

 

Bad you may know me . I am running ed wright chip. my cam is a comp custom grind 248 in 254 exh @,50 .600 lift in. .580 exh 1.6 rr in 1.5 rr exh . I am spraying that is why comp suggested that cam but i am having tuning problems gettin frustrated any help would be appreciated greatly!!!!

 

Do a search for posts by 11Sec91Z - he runs that very set up, with the exception of a TPIS ZZX cam. He runs very fast with that set up. It's worth checking out. I have a Comp Cams cc306 - Xe290. It has 230*/244* dur. @ .050, and .510"/.544" lift w/ 1.5 rockers. My motor consists of: 383, 6" rods, 11.3:1 CR, AFR 195's ported - 286cfm @ .600" lift Int., Mini Ram, 58mm TB, 30# injectors, Accel DFI, Hooker LT's, Art Carr 700R4 w/ 3500 stall, 12 bolt w/ 3.73's. If this cc306 cam doesn't work out for me - I'm going to yank it out and get the ZZX from TPIS. Just my $0.02
