Weight of L98 engine

Does anyone know the weight of an 1987 L98 TPI engine with iron heads (without accesories)? Just need an estimate not exact.

My jasper l98 longblock said 417lbs. on the shipping tag when it showed up at my dad's shop. That might of been including the crate it was shipped on though.

Thanks, just wanted to make sure that a 750lbs engine stand could handle this stuff.

Make sure its a good one. My $35 one from Advanced Auto sags a bit.

Thanks for the heads up! $35 bucks? Not bad. That's actually a great deal if you're working on a lighter engine like a V6.
