87 350 tpi or not???

Ok guys..what do i do?
Ok I love my 88 tbi and I have put a lot into it...and I also want a 350, 330 hp vortec with the 670 tbi and a new paint job....now I have just come across a friend that i have not seen in a few months and she offered to sell her car to me....
It's an 87 Iroc with the 350 tpi, t-tops, blue and she has already put a higher stall and built up the tranny...it has the stock rear with 3.27 borgwarner. she has don't nothing else with this car. the fastest time she pulled was 14.3 at 93 mph with slicks...so do I get rid of my tbi guys??? I have already looked into this car and it is an 87 350 with t-tops...
She is going to sell it to me for $3400.00 ...it has 84,000 miles on it...
what do u think put the vortec in my car or buy this iroc??

I think if i buy it I am going to put my exhaust on it since the setup i have on mine is for that car.

If you swap that exhaust onto the IROC it should easily get a 13 sec car. TPI's respond very well to exhaust mods. Also unless your a stickler for originality...... it sounds like your rear is better. The 9-bolts are nice but the parts for them are expensive as hell. now if having the 9-bolt will give you the added benifit of disc brakes over your rear then you might want to keep that.

IMO the exhaust and rear end from your current car will make that IROC a really fun car to drive.

I am thinking just buying it because it will just sit next to mine for the winter...I don't have disc brakes so I think I would keep the 9 bolt and put 3.73's and change the exaust and then the cam and I think it would go good...I am at that point wiht my car where I put all the things into it to get it prepared for a vortec 350. It's hard to get rid of my car because it was my first car i ever had and a lot of things have happened to it but I might as well just pic up the IROC and make my mind up in the spring.

well i went to try it out and it went good, but it is not as nice as I thought it was. It has been repainted to a blue color and it use to be gray. the inside of the engine bay was painted balck. and for just being repainted a couple of years ago it aready has a couple of dings and one of the rear tail lights is busted. Alos the iroc decal on the side is ripped and they painted the headlight pockets the same color as the car. The inside is a bit worse then my car. the t-tops were sealed with a poxy and it dripped onto the rear by the seats and they never cleaned it. The girl that has it now has only had it for a few months and she mosty just draged with it...she had a higher stall and I htink a shift kit put in it. I couldn't notice the stall really...but I do know when I was slowing down the tranny would knock. Other then that it went good but I have looked into it more and my car looks a bit nicer and when I put my new 330hp motor in my car there will be a brand new engine with an warranty on it. Then I will paint it after....so if anyone is intersted in this car then let me know.

Buy the IROC, DATE THE CHIC!! Any chic who can, or would do that to an IROC is noteworthy.
