new injectors? or just get stock ones cleaned?
ok, so do i get new injectors at like $300.. or get the stock ones (22lbs) cleaned and flow tested at Cruzin Performance for $80..?? i don't quite feel like spending $300 on new ones unless u guys think it is that necessary..
im thinking about getting a new cam\rockers for christmas if that helps any.. as with my current mods of headers\gutted cat\catback\ported plenum and runner. and im about to make my stock fuel pressure regulator into an adjustable fuel pressure regulator..
do i go with stock for a little while longer.. or do i save my some time and go with larger injectors? i am also planning on getting some prom burning equipment for christmas that would help if i did get larger injectors..
oh and i know it would be alot easier to just do my cam now that alot of this crap is already off. but i need to fix my lean running condition before i go any further performace wise..

I too have heard that sometimes larger injectors are not always better. 24lbs/hr should be fine for a decent 350, and even 383s. From what i have "heard" anyway. But if you are going to be burning your own proms, i would think that you could work with the 30lbers. Also, i was going to say that the Accel injectors are $229 out of Summit and the Ford SVOs are $219 through them. I recently had to change my new Accels b/c fastchip does not work with these injectors. I was told that they are never consistant and that they have too hard of a time working with them. But, you are going to be right there next to your car "burning" so i don't think you will have a problem if you go with the Accels. good luck

I would replace them. talk to rich at cruizin perf and see what he says. he wouldn't even clean my 22#ers because 2 of them were leaking and they were known to go bad. Rochesters I think.

Even though you my not need larger injectors now it wouldn't hurt to get them as long as you have a chip tuned for them. $80 for a set of cleaned 22#ers or you can get 26 or 28# LS1 injectors for less than $200 new.
