Engine: lt1 intaked 355 makin 277 on 25 psi of fuel pressure and stock timing :)
Transmission: A4 stock... that moved a mobile dyno a foot shifting into 2nd :)
has anyone ported to a TPIS bigmouth gasket on stock manifold

had any one done this i? i have ordered the gaskets already and just wanted to know how to do the lower intake because i looked at the gasket and it looks like it will go to thin on some parts and i wouldnt want to break through anything ya know.... well please let me know about this one guys.... thanks

I honestly do not think that it's possible to really do much to the stock manifold (apart from siamesing the ports). When I was replacing my stock baseplate with the Edlebrock, I simply took a look at the difference in port sizes (after I was done porting out the Edlebrock base to match my Accel LTRs), and I knew that there was no way that I could've done the same amount of port work to the stock baseplate. There's just not enough meat to enlarge the ports to really make a difference (even if you could port match to the Accel LTRs, you'd be better damn good so as to not hit that point of no return)

yea i know what u mean if i was to port it to the same size i would have to play with the gasket to get i to sit alittle different i dont know yet but i am already doing the upper plenum and going to do alittle bit on the runners so i will post up pics when i am done.....

Can't port a stock manifold to the bigmouth gaskets, not and have any material left on the manifold.

If you try to port out a stock manifold to the bigmough size you'll run out of manifold, as in you'll remove too much metal.
