tpi pic needed asap
Can someone please post a pic of a tpi motor. I need the paassenger side of the plenum in the rear where all the vaccum lines go.
I put my 305 back in for inspection and I need to get the vacuum lines in there properly.
Thanks

Thanks vader that did help a little.
One other question though, I have a 91 car. I know the MAF sensor is bolted directly to the plenum but I also have this star trek looking thing, kind of looks like sky lab for those of you who were around in the early 80's. Where does that go?

sorry MAP sensor. I think we all knew what I was talking about
The star trek looking thing seems to be some sort of vacuum distribution piece, but not quite sure where it should go to and which system should get limited vacuum and which shouldn't.

The "star trek looking thing" sounds like the heater bypass valve, which uses switched vacuum from the HVAC controls to open or close the valve.
That line should go through the firewall and into the HVAC unit.

got any pics of it? From what I understand the space thing has three outlets. 1 in, 1 out and 1 on the side.
The in should come from the manifold, (which end of the spacecraft should face the manifold?)
The out should go to the ?
and the side should go to the ?

Your "skylab" piece sounds like the PEDEs valve.
And a bit of nonesense info. Skylab came back to earth and burned up back in the mid 70's (not 80's), 1974 or 1975 if memory serves correctly. Not only old enough to remember skylab, I saw it the night it reentered earth's atmosphere. Gawd, do I feel old now.

I don't even see the PEVE valve in the picture, which one are you talking about. The only one that I see with a "P" in it is the PCV.

The heater bypass valve? I wouldn't think you would need that for emissions. That just controls wether there is collant flowing to the heater core.
