does anybody know where to get a "E-pin" adapter for the 85-88 5.0 and 5.7 tpi motors. it fits on the end of a scantool and plugs into the aldl connector. a friend tried to hook up a otc montior 2000 to my 86 305 tpi iroc and it says to use a e-pin adapter. does anybody else have to use this adapter? anybody got one for-sale? any info would be great if you know or have to use it, please enlighten me on this thing. thanks, tom

yes i know, but i can't find a "e" pin adapter for sale. could i just move the wire from the e pin down to the m pin?

 

So that it works with a wider variety of scan tools, get a junkyard pigtail, plug it into M, and splice that wire into the E wire. Works great.
