is there one place better than another to get a good price on a miniram and other good parts like tb's and the like??

 

I think with the Miniram you are stuck with going thru TPIS. I havn't ever seen or heard of another place selling them new.
Ebay has one come up every now and then.
As far as t-bodies, from what I've seen prices stay about the same from place to place. Again you can find them new or in good shape on Ebay for alot less.

Call TPIS and ask them about their 'backroom' specials. I bought a miniram for $650 from them that was welded and the TPIS name is blemished. If you can weld aluminum, they have some for $300 on up that need to be tweaked before you run them.
