91'Z misses and quits while driving on occasion.

My brother-in-law has a 91'Z 350 TPI car, and here just recently, the car has started to just cut out and die. Granted, all this was happening while a bad alternator was on the car, but I just can't see that making the car miss and die.

It's actually quite weird what happens. The car, once it warms up, will miss and die anywhere below 3500 rpms. Keep it above that, and it runs fine. I replaced his alternator yesterday, but have yet to drive it.

The fuel pump is fine, as I'm seeing 42 psi while cruising, and 46-47 @ WOT. That's where we have the AFPR set at.

Anyways, if it helps, the car has SLP 1-3/4" headers w/ORY, all emissions have been removed since we installed the headers last year, TPIS AFPR, timing advanced to 10*, full MSD iginition, K+N's, Yank ST2800, B+M tranny cooler, B+M shift kit, 3.73's, full Spohn suspension, and a few other free mods that I can't think of right now.

Any help in this situation is greatly appreciated.

Check the TPS... could be a dead spot in it.

Try replacing the fuel filter & use some injector cleaner..
