Fuel Injector P/N?

I just received some injectors I purchased off Ebay, and I'm trying to confirm their rating. They are supposed to be 26 lb/hr, but I wasn't able to find a part number list anywhere on the net or in the forumns. The part number on the injectors is 12555894. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Those should be 26lb/hr LS1 injectors. How much did you pay for them (are they new)?
Look at this:

I paid that amount ($175), this is person I bought them from. They were new, but it took about a month for them to arrive. I was hoping to verify the part number against something other than the person I bought them from. I'm not sure who made these for GM, but they are the same as the ones in that Ebay picture. Thannks.

I found other numbers on the injector that might be the actual part number: 0 280 155 890. I hope this is a number that someone can cross reference. Thanks.

The guy I bought them from listed them as 26lb injectors, but reading this information they sound like 22lb injectors:

The injectors are rated at 3.32 grams/second (26.3 pounds/hour) at 400 kPa (58 psi) fuel pressure. At 300 kPa (43.5 psi) fuel pressure, they flow roughly 2.88 grams/second (22.8 pounds/hour). These are high impedance (roughly 12 ohm) injectors

No one would run 58lbs of pressure would they? I think my fuel pump would do it though, I put in a pump from an import. Can't remember what model, might have been a 3000GT or an Accura.

If i wanted to run them at 26.3lb/hr, would running that high of pressure cause problems? I understand that the PROM will need to be adjusted.

Thanks for any advice...

58psi is roughly what stock LS1s are at at, therefore that is what psi they were rated at. So yeah 26lb LS1 injectors are pretty close to our 22lb injectors

Re: Fuel Injector P/N?

you know... i am having the same issue... I have the dark grey injectors 0-280-155-890 injectors, and i am trying to figure out what the flow is. I have looked at many flow charts and diagrams on the web and every one i read states 16.35 lbs/hr @43.5 psi... this cant be right! I thought they are 22 lb/hr @43.5 psi injectors?

Re: Fuel Injector P/N?

The unfortunate part of figuring out what fuel injector flow rates are on the internet is what you are finding, that is, that Flow rates vary and it is difficult to know if an injector is appropriate for your application. There are a few factors that come into play. Do the people listing or selling the injectors have their own flowbenches? Are they just purchasing them and reselling them according to what THEY find on the internet or what someone tells them? How reliable are the people selling them?
What type of calibration fluid are they using to flow them?
Those injectors are more than likely 22's. It is very difficult to find the bosch lll's in 16lb, if they make them at all.
If anyone ever needs a confirmation on the flow rate/number of an injector, contact us and we will do what we can to cross reference it for you, however we may not have the answer 100% of the time, but we will sure try.
