Does fuel pressure change when......

I just had the fuel pump changed out this weekend and was wondering if the fuel pressure would change dramatically with the new pump? The car feels way slower than it did last week. This could all be in my head but there seems to be a little bog when i first step on the gas.Anyway i dont have an AFPR or gauge.

I had a shop put a fuel pump in for me and was having similar problems. Anyways after lots of searching i found out they put the wrong pump in, thinking that was the last thing that couldve been wrong. Replaced it and everything ran fine again.

Gotta have that reading, You can pick up a fuel pressure gauge / tester at Sears for around $20
