go with superram or just large tube runners

OK, my car has been running great, making some small mods and getting better at the track every time. I take it to the track about once per month, don't race on the street, (well not usually). So Ive got slp CAI, fastchip, Borla catback, and nittos. I just bought a ACcel supperam base, and was going to buy the superram plenum and runners. NOw Im having second thoughts since I still have a pretty much stock engine. I plan on a LPE219 cam and AFR 190 heads, but I dont know when, those cost a lot. So I wonder if I should just do somoe large tube runners and port the plenum and base to them now, then do the Superram plenum and runners when I get the cam and heads. I dont want to take a step back at the track. The best I have run so far is 8.69.................in the 1/8 mile. haha gotcha. But thats still pretty good for a L98m with a few mods. Anyway, what do you all think?

You might as well port the plenum since it will be off during the intake swap (and it's free).
If you're definitely going to get the SuperRam plenum and runners later then I wouldn't bother buying larger runners now. Although you CAN resell runners fairly easily you won't get back what you paid for them.

Unless you are keen on the idea of having a higher revving/better flowing TPI setup and plan to
portmatch the plenum to aftermarket runners to aftermarket base
which I have often thought would be close in performance to a superram, you should get the superram. Myself being a fan of the stock tpi look with large tube runners am going to attempt to make a very superior stock style TPI which i imagine after all the port matching and better parts will give a superram a run for its money.

In short: Stock-style TPI that flows a badass amount = badass!
Superram: Badass all on it's own!

Depends what you want to do.

I am sticking with the LTR setup because I want it to look stock to the average person and don't want the hassle of the Super Ram.

The larger LTR will give you a TON of low end torque at the expense of top end HP. The SR will move the TQ band up a little and net more top end HP.
