I have the opportunity to pick this cam up for nothing if I determine it will be any good for my setup and it only has 1k miles on it. Any opinions are appreciated.

I am looking to remain a daily driver but click off low to mid 13's when I hit the track from time to time. Like I said, no big deal if it won't work b/c the cam will be free anyway, and I will just go get something else. Thanks.

 

Dang. with that setup, that cam will make all those mods more than worth it. For free?! Sounds good to me.

 

its a good cam for a daily driven street car... but IMO its a fairly mild cam... i have a buddy of mine who has a 96 WS6 w/ mild ported heads, 52mm TB, Vigilante 2800 Stall converter and that cam and is running 12.90s on street tires and 12.70s on ET streets. it puts good power up to about 5700 RPM and works great in his car... but he is now wishing he has the CC305...

i am actually planning on putting that cam into my 305 here in the near future to see how it works out... i think its a great cam... it would probably work great w/ your stock heads

 

oh, you should definately get a new prom though for this cam.

but the prom will make all the differnce with that cam
