Stealthram fuel line Q

I got my stealthram without any instructions for the fuel rail, im pretty sure i got it but id rather be dead right before being dead wrong, anyplace where i can download those, i tried the holley site but like most internet sites it was useless. The way im looking at it im going to need some flexible fuel lines is that true.

There was no instructions in my kit also.I put the short rail on the passenger side and long rail on the driver side with regulator on the back next to the distributer. The cross over is in the front .

Do you think that the $170+ fuel rail is needed or could someone fab in a stock line or an LT-1 line? I am thinking of transplanting the LT-1 intake of my formula onto my vette since it will fit under my stock vette hood and replacing it with a HSR. Every $ I can save helps.

Okay i have it set up the way you say e-man, but if the crossover is in the front, and the fuel lines end at the front of the car, do i need to run a line to the back of the fuel rail on the SR and onto the braided hose ends ? does that make sense, can you post a pic ?

It doesn't matter how you run them as long as the rails get the feed line, and the regulator returns to the tank. Most of the installs I've seen here and elsewhere have the feed and return lines going to the rear driver's side with braided steel hose. The regulator can mount with the outlet facing in or out. It's pretty much up to you how you set it up.

The fuel rail setup is so open ended you shouldn't need instructions. Just as long as you realize that the regulator is a bypass regulator (meaning DON'T feed the fuel into it, but out of it), you can pretty much arrange it how you like.

I'm running almost all hardline to save space and clean up an already cluttered engine bay. I am having to get all kinds of seperate bits of hardware to do it this way though.

You'll have to connect your existing chassis' fuel lines to the new fuel rails. The proper adapters' part numbers are in several posts.

91,

I did my awhile back but did the oppsite, I put my cross over in the back, and ran my lines in the front, If you do a search I explain on how I did it. Also I have pics at http://community.webshots.com/photo/...41663137YIYXGb
I just got some custom fuel lines made, at a hose shop, so that I didn't have to cut my steel fuel lines. It only ran me about 40 bucks. Well worth it, it's clean quick and easy. I would give you more details but it's been awhile since I did the swap. But check my old post. Hope this helps.
