boiling/bubbling noise in the tank.
my car makes a boiling/bubbling noise after i turn off the engine. i don't know why it does it but it is related to my excessive pressure buildup in the tank. also, my leaking gas from any open orifice of the tank, problem. what do u guys think it can be? fuel pump getting to hot? or something else i'm over looking?
More than likely, it's not "pressure" and "boiling" that you hear, but "vacuum" and the sound of air being sucked into the tank below the fuel level. This happens sometimes when your vent gets clogged; you're pumping fuel out of the tank creating a vacuum that's gradually relieved through the filler neck or other means.
Check that white plastic valve by the fuel tank. For a test, remove it and see if that helps anything and if it does, find a replacement. You may also want to replace your filler cap. Check the gasket ring around it for cracks.

i wish mine would go away too
:sillylol:
the cap is fine but i'll double check the valve. the valve also makes a loud hiss noise(relieving the presssure?). guessing it's ok??
