Yeah, from what i have been told, my "hot" cam is too small for it. If i could do it over, i would get a bigger cam and make some more power. Oh well, there is still room for improvement! TPIS never really gave me a good suggestion, just that the hot cam was ok to use with it. It is slightly bigger than the ZZ9 cam. Don't really know which cam is "perfect" for the miniram but i too would like to know what would work best for/with it.

Well I have the 218/224 comp cams and the miniram on my 350. It will be done by spring, but Traxion had this cam on his 350 and ran a very low 12 sec pass, and somewhere around 110mph so I don't think they are to small by any means. I also have to deal with emmisions which many of you probably don't have to worry about, but people who do can't go crazy with those big cams. Also I heard Traxion say that the 218/224 is much more streetable than the CC306 or the next bigger cam which he runs now.
Just a thought...

I am not 100% sure of your combination but I also have the Miniram and I just ordered a cam to match it:
248/248 @ 0.050" with .615"/.615" lift and on a 110º LSA
This was a solid roller cam and what TPIS recommended (had Comp cams make it though for $200 less than TPIS was asking)
This was in a 406 motor.
Not sure if this helps but use it as a guide. Miniram likes to have a single pattern cam around 112 LSA

That cam seems very aggressive for a street bound car. If thats what you need then right on.
Are you running a stock ecm or aftermarket computer?

It is a street car and I run Accel's DFI system.
I am gonna try this year to run 10's naturally aspirated without stripping the car down to its chassis (i.e. keeping the A/C, cruise control, full interior, etc.)

That sounds great.
My goal is tens with a supercharger and almost stock ecm. I plan to use the 7749. I also won't give up my ac, cruise, stereo, or interior, except the back seats which no one can get into any way.
Good luck.
