I keep getting code 36...
About a week ago I started my car up and SES light came on right after it caught idle. I scanned it and got code 36 (MAF Problem). I went and got a new MAF but I still get code 36 everytime I start the car. If I reset the ECM the SES light doesn't come on for that first drive, but the second time I turn it on same damn thing SES light w/ code 36.. I have no idea what to do, any ideas??

Car: GTA -89
Engine: Blown 415"
Transmission: 4L80E
Axle/Gears: Strange 12-bolt
Code 36:
Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor burnoff failure. TPI only. After vehicle shutdown, a burnoff relay is activated which heats up the MAF sensor wire in order to burn off any deposits that may have collected on it. When this occurs, the ECM will sense 12 volts in the relay ground wire. When it does not see this voltage, it assumes that the relay has failed, or there is an open in the circuit.
Replace the burn off relay

Well I replaced the MAF burnoff relay and still no luck, I still get code 36. When I took the old relay off there was what looked to be grease on all the connectors. I don;t think that is normal so i cleaned them off and put on the new relay. I also reset the ecm but after I drive the car once the SES light comes on.. Do you have any other suggestions?

Code 36 could also be
-Problem in transmission shift
-Fault in direct ignition system
-Missing pulses in electronic spark timing signal
this kind of problems is little over my head.....I think "Vader" or the other "experts" can help you out.....
