What's the difference between an '89 - '90 6 cyl maf, a 305 maf, and a 350 maf. they look identical. I put a '90 6 cyl. maf on my '89
350...will I get a leaned mixture, richened mixture, no change, or
nobody really knows.
thanks

i dont really know for sure, but i dont see why there would be a difference, i mean all the maf does is measure incoming air, so no matter what engine or year ud think it would do just that, measure the air coming in...

the maf itself does the same job, but i think the connectors might different between the v6's and v8's. i remember i pulled a dual snorkel intake off from a car in the boneyard over the summer and just took the maf along with it, i compared it to the one that i have one my 88 tpi but the connector was different. i don't know what was up that?
The connector is the exact same ...5 prong.
I kinda' argree, seems as tho maf should work ok.
I put it on the car and it appears to work fine..
if its a little rich or lean I might not notice tho...
when I take it to 1/4 maybe i'll try both.
This is a strange l89, seems to run strong to 6300
and goes ~100 in 1/4 !!
