Speed Density?
Ok, I DID try to search, but the search isn't working! I have seen many aftermarket cold air intakes and ram air boxes on ebay and other sites, but some say for speed density motors only... what exactly is that? And are the SLP cold air intakes better than keeping the stock TPI intake with dual K&N's and the ram boxes?

Speed density is the type of computer that the 90-92 cars used. Your car is MAF, which means it has that MAF sensor. The difference is, most aftermarket cold air set-ups are not going to accomodate the MAF.
As for replacing it, the stock camaro TPI snorkel is dyno and track proven to not be a restriction on cars with well over 300rwhp and running 11s. So replacing it is not going to do anything for you.

You mean the stock TPI lid for the filters? Dang with how small that thing is, I would have thought that it is a restriction. That's good to know.

So what about the ram air boxes that attach to the stock dual filter intake, the ones that pull the air from behind the fog-lights?

Those "ram air" mods from behind the fog lights don't really increase the flow of the whole system where you'll see any benefit, but they do direct fresh cool air from outside the car to the air filters so they're not picking up hot air from the engine bay. Having that denser air charge may help you get a little more power out of the car. Although I'm not sure if just because the air temperature at the front of the system is at a certain level, that doesn't mean that it would heat up to engine temp. levels by the time it hit the cylinder.
