Is it possible (MAF question)

Is it possible that there is no code from computer - SES light do not appear - but MAF is bad?
My car has big problems while accelerating - as if cables weren't OK but they are new, so is timing chain, engine is rebuilt, the timing unit is OK too.
At the moment I seem to run out of options, everything seems to be fine (or is already replaced), no SES light but my car doesn't want to perform as it shoul be
So guys, what do you think about this MAF thing?

It is possible, but not likley. Do you have new cap and rotor? Did you check the coil? How does it idle? Also, have you checked all of the connections for the computer to ses light, or even the light bulb? Also, don't forget to go back and double check ALL of the ignition connections. A multi-meter, or volt-meter will come in handy. I got a couple more ideas, but make sure that it isn't arching on something. Is this the first time that the engine has been run since the rebuild?

Check your TPS voltage with 2 different meters. I had a situation once where my meter was broken and was killing my TPS readings.

Yeah, I would only trust a volt-meter like a fluke or something.

btw the search is back up if you need to find out how to check the MAF.
