ODD ODD CTS & Starting Problem HELP!!!???!!!???

Well for those keeping track, I still havent fixed my intermitten starting problem

Last time I thought I figured it out, I thought it was the Coolant Temp Sensor, cause I had a brand new one ...if the car wouldnt start I'd unplug the old one, plug in the new one (just hanging free for start up, then it would fire rite up, so once it started I'd swap it back onto the real sensor.

Well.... Tonight I took that brand new sensor and actually put it in, and wow, it doenst work either now.

Could it have anything to do with my coolant flow, to much, to little, to cool, to hot (it isnt running hot or cold) Remember I have an LT1 intake with remote T-Stat housing

and Yes, when I switched the two, coolant did flow out of the hole, so I know it flowing someting.

First of all, what is your intermittent starting problem? Is it when its cold or hot? Your coolant temperature sensor really doesn't affect starting that much. The only "coolant sensor" that affects starting on earlier TPI systems is the Cold Start Injector switch, which is similar to the coolant temp. sensor in looks and location, but it only controls the CSI and current only goes through it during starting.

What happens when you plug the old sensor in just hanging free?

Did you have to extend any wires to reach the remote thermostat housing? If yes, did you solder the wires or use butt splices? Is there any tension on the wires, harness, or connector when it's hooked up? The sensor has it's own wired ground, so it shouldn't be a case of the housing not being grounded properly.

What's the temp read on a scantool or DVM on both sensors on and off the car?
