Low 13's possible with this stuff?

Car is in my signature. Looking to do quite a bit of bolt-on work before moving on to a 383 stroker in the future. The transmission is a mild build up w/ a plain ol' 1800 stall. I got 3.42 limited slip, and other than that assume the rest of the car is in good tune.

So... It is my hope to hit very low 13's before stroking up to 383 cubes with this stuff:

!airboxes w/ k&ns
Throttle body foil
Ported upper plenum
Edelbrock runners & lower plenum
MSD blaster coil, cap & rotor, and 8mm wires
MSD 6al box
Subframes
LCA's
Dynomax 1 5/8" headers
Dynomax super cats
Dynomax catback w/ one of thier mufflers
Battery relocation to hatch

Anyone agree with me that I can see 13.1's with all this stuff?

Yeah I don't think you'll even be close to low 13s. Definitely high 13s at best. Especially with the stock cam and heads.

Just street tires.

The car ran a 14.9@92 mph with a bad fuel pump and transmission. Add to that 2,200 feet elevation at las vegas motor speedway.

I imagine I am currently somewhere around 14.4-14.6.

I mean, high 13's? That doesn't sound right guys, I think I can easily see 13.5 with that stuff and good 60' times.

Once again car is in sig for reference.

Seriously, high 13s is the best with the mods listed. I'd bet $$ on it. Let us know when you're done though so we'll know for sure.

Sticky tires & a converter might get you there. I'd look into buying the chip burning tools & software as well.

What was your 60' on that run? Remember, the faster you go, the more that's required to get the same results. You can shave 1.0sec off w/ a 100 shot of the fun stuff, but a guy running 9.50's may only see a 0.4 difference.

I have run a best of 13.4-13.5@103 w/ the mods in my sig. That's w/ no tuning and a ZZ4 motor. The only improvement to the motor that I see you doing is minor intake mods, headers and catback.

so lets say you run a 14.6 @ 95 now. you would need to pick up at least 70 rwhp to pick up 7mph and 7 tenths. That's why people are saying high 13's

Not just minor breathment mods dude... a much better ignition and improved suspension! Isn't it true that alot of L98's see 13.9x with FREE MODS? I can;t imagine spending around 4,000 dollars (tranny and bolt ons) to only see a 13.9x at best. I am sad now.

Replacing your tranny isn't a mod though. Even though yours is dying it probably isn't slowing you down as much as you think. Ignition upgrades have only given more HP to some people. I didn't notice a difference with mine. Either way it is a very minor mod. The bulk of your gains will come from the headers, intake and runners and the suspension mods will help with your 60ft times. I can't see these adding up to more than .8 improvement in the 1/4 (still a very good gain though).

H8: what kinda gears you running? If it's the stock 3.27's, you really can't expect that to get you to the low 13's on bolt ons.

Call me an optimist, but I plan to see mid 13's before the 383. This will be happening very gradually, as I wish I had the money for all of this stuff all at once but I don't. Low 13's I think everyone is right and it's a stretch. High 13's tho still sounds a little cautious to me. So mid 13's is my aspiration. I have been inspired by quite a few mild mod lists showing off mid 13's in the readers ride section as well as others.
