RWHP after mods?
Thanks in advance for any replies! Motor is 91 vette L98, gm al. heads. Car currently has TPIS big mouth lower manifold, CAI, Edelbrock TES headers, FLP hi flo cat, Ravin muffler, flowmaster pipes. Ive got accel superram going on, with LPE 219 cam. Specs are 5.60/5.60 112 LSA with 1.6 RR. Im of course going with 1.6 rr's as well, new lifters, new springs, LS1 28 lb injectors and a new prom from PCM for less. On the current setup i dynoed 236 rwhp and 309 rwtq. Any estimates for numbers after intake/cam/etc? Thanks again guys.

Depending on how well the heads flow, 300-325, but a TON of tq. And I don't remember my LPE 219 having 5.6" lift, that's pretty big

You might want to check over on corvetteforum.com. They have several cars with this combo. I have the AFR springs, unidentified rr's, and stock lifters, so I'm of no help.

Using the 219 cam with the .560" lift at the valve with 1.6 RR's, I would STRONGLY suggest installing the AFR Hydra Rev kit. It will help stop valve float and make the valve train quieter. New, the kit is just over $200, but shop around and you can find it used for a lot less. Also make sure your vavle springs are strong enough for the .560" valve lift.

Here's a more detailed picture of the Hydra Rev.
It's purpose is to help offset the weight of heavy hydraulic roller lifters with out putting excess pressure on the hydraulic plunger of the lifter. Hydraulic roller lifters are heavy because there is so much too them. The springs that come with the kit put pressure on the outside body of the lifter. I wouldn't say that false knock would be a problem with out the Hydra Rev, but valve float would be more likely. Try doing a search on this board and you may come up with more information.

Those are AFR 190's. Why 'ya asking?
86IROC-SS,
I would recommend the Comp Cam Pro Magnum rockers also. I have the Crane Race Gold rockers and I'm not totally satisfied with them.
