someone please help me identify this box
There is a metal box under my dash wired and next to my ECM. It is about half the size of my ECM about 3x5x1". It is silver and has a sticker on it that says BOSCH and has some other numbers on it. Anyone know what this is? Is it my ESC module? I have a 1985 TPI wiring harness on a 350.

MAF burnoff
That's for the Mass Air Flow Sensor burnoff circuit. Basically, after you shut off your car, it supplies 12 volts to the heated wire in the sensor to burn-off any contaminants that may have gotten on it while the car was running. On my 1985 TPI, you can hear a click a few seconds after I shut the car off, signalling that the relay is off.

Ah, thanks. Is there any way to test it with my multimeter because I never hear it do anything when I turn off my car...
