Do I need wiring going from ecm to firewall when converting to TPI?

I will be going form a 305 tbi to a 350 tpi. Will I need all the wire harness. Even form the ecm to the firewall. Or the wires the same? I have a 90 firebird, and the engine is from an 1989 Gta. Also was the dash harness the same in 89 and 90,or will I need that? And does anyone know any problems I might run into with this swap? Thanks JDV

I assume you haven't pulled your tbi harness yet. When you do, you'll see that it's all one piece where it goes through the firewall (actually the kick panel). When you replace the harness with a TPI harness, the bulkhead that goes through the kick panel is all part of the harness.
