with stock intake and exhaust manifolds, 275 hp might be possible with a lot of work and creativity although i dont understand why u wouldnt want to touch the intake or exhaust manifolds...why?

Bigger cam and ported heads will get you there. You should get some headers to compliment the bigger cam and higher flowing heads however.......

i can see wanting to keep the TPI but why not change the Exhaust manifolD? That is easy power....But a bigger cam, flat top pisons, pulley kit,electric waterpump,Headers,roller rockers,HO distributer (Hypertech makes a nice HEI Dist.), Some sort of new chip, Maybe Some NOS?("Go Baby Go" button)
that will give you some serious power..Porting your heads and plunum would be good...people dont notice a ported plenum without taking it off

another mod for some easy horse is an ajustable fuelpressure regulator...with some bigger injectors to feed your new power
