tpi harness plugins

i have an 89 factory tpi harness that has 4 wires going to the back of the firewall to the trans tunnel... is these wires ,purple,yellow,black,tan white going to the tranny or possibly the speedo?

Both. The purple/yellow is speedometer (not used in Camaros), and the tan/white is for the transmission (although there should be four?). I'll take a look at one tonight if I remember to.

man i cut that..... i thought it went to the tranny... damn it....

I told you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just use wire connectors to splice them back together and you will be fine. Make sure you use good connectors. Might be alittle hard to get to though.
