Ok,.. It looks like I have found a donor engine. It is a 90 350 with TPI. I have a 305 TBI. After removing the wire harness and TPI unit itself, then replacing the injectors, is there anything that I need to do?
I have noticed that some users say I must replace the 350 chip in the ECM is this correct or just a preference? Will it run to rich?

Do a search on swapping from a 305 to a 350. There is alot of info on this swap. I know yours is going to be a little more interesting because you are going from tbi to tpi. I would definitely change everything. I believe there is a place called TPIS on the internet that sells a book on this swap also. Good luck. I hope I helped some.

You want a 305 memcal, perfect oppertunity to start burning your own PROM's.
