Error code 43....And what my car is doing..

Ok, I am getting error code 43 and whenever the ses light comes on, the car kinda bogs down and loses power a little bit. It comes and goes randomly every time I drive. It usually only lasts about 10-20 seconds at a time. Any ideas of where to start first?

91 Z28 305 TPI 5sp

some of the mods

intake, headers, runners, ported plenum, 3" cat, 1.6rr's, afpr, air foil, msd 6al coil wires cap rotor, hypertech chip, coolant bypass, gutted air boxes, and other stuff that isn't related.

Thanks.

It is your knock sensor/wiring. Lower pass side of block in front of starter is the knock sensor. Check the connector and wire, if all OK then may be a bad sensor. ECM is checking the resistance of the circuit and finding it to be incorrect.
