tpi superram idle problem

Hi everyone. I've got a problem and I need some help. Today I just got to fire up my engine for the first time after installing my superram. Here is my problem. The idle is really sucking and it smells really rich. I've alreay adjusted my TPS and I tried to adjust my IAC but the idle won't go that low. I've got the idle down to bouncing around 900-1000 but no matter how much I adjust ther set screw it won't go lower. All the extra slack is out of the throttle cable and the blades don't go any more shut. If I push them shut more the engine dies. I know my timing might be a little off since i haven't got it running good enough to adjust it yet. I guess I need to look for a vacuum leak. I'm going to try this tomorrow but I need some other ideas. I really need to get the car running again. I also haven't adjusted my AFPR yet.
Right now this is what I've got.
zz4 w/ superram and 23#injectors, slp exhaust w/stock not hollowed out cat. PR chip. 58mm TB, CAI, Gutted MAF, Any help would be great, Thanks josh

I just got my car to run and idle good after fighting with it for weeks. It sound like you're on the right track. My timing was off, runner gasket had a leak and fuel pump relay was bad causing it to run lean. Check everything you mentioned and it should come together for you. Good luck. BTW- I have just the Superram base with SLP runners and ported plenum. My car seems to like the fuel pressure set to 45#. Hope this helps some.

Did you check the lid of the SuperRam? Accel had problems with the lids being warped. This would cause a big vacuum leak. Just a thought. Good luck

well I figured out my problem. I've got major vacuum leaks. It looks like base to runners and runner to plenum. I'm royally pissed. That's a lot of work to undo all that. I guess I'm going to get some rtv and seal the hell out of those gaskets this time. Wish me luck.

I'm using 0 sealent on my superram gaskets. Just make sure you tighten the runners fully before you drop the box on top. Then finger start EVERY bolt before you tighten a single one. Hopefully it'll work that time around.

Do yourself a huge favor and if you haven't yet run a tap through every hole in the plenum. It makes a HUGE difference in installation ease.
