Will it run?
I'm gettng ready to install a MAF type TPI (L-98) eng into my 82 Z-28.
It's a 383 with 24 lb injectors.
I figured by going from 21 to 24 lb injectors, I'll increase my fuel flow rate by abt 15%.
Displacement wise, I gained abt 10%.
Does this mean I'll be about 5% rich on my mixture if I use the stock L-98 computer and EPROM?
Will I be able to lower the fuel press and get it to run?
I know it will eventually need a custom EPROM, but it's going to be a while before I can get that going.

Lowering the FP will have it's most effect at WOT only.
I'd hook at scantool in when you fire it off and monitor BLMs and O2 sensor to be safe.
Also, the stock L98 injectors are 22lb, not 21lb, so you may be closer than you think.

Humm, I think I was looking at this all wrong..
With a MAF sensor, the eng would see the extra air coming in and increase the inj pulse width. Seems like that would make me abt 9% too rich..
Am I looking at this right?
I've heard a lot of folks recommending the Holley AFPR.
Is it easily adjujsted while eng is running?
Are tools needed to adjust it?
How low can I run the fuel press before I run into problems with poor atomization (or something else)?
