bolts for Accel Runners

Okay guys I bought a set of used Accel runners and went ahead and bought the gaskets from Lingenfelter, but they wanted 40 dollars for the bolts. Is this my only option? If someone has the type and sizes of the bolts I could probably just go to a hardware store and pick them up. I just don't know if there is any special bolts that places like Ace would not carry.
Thanks for any help.

Jonathan

You really want some type of internal type fastener. The external ones (ei regular hex-head bolts) require using sockets, which for the most part you don't have the room to use. You may be able to use a 12-point 3/8th" bolt if you really really wanted to, but it's probably better to use some type of buttonhead Torx or Allen sockethead cap screw with washers.

You can find some kits that have all the TPI bolts in stainless Allen-heads. People have complained about stripping them, but you have to remember there's a pretty light torque value used on the runners.

Could I just match up the stock bolts with allen instead of torx???? Are the sizes the same whether the runners are stock or aftermarket????
Thanks.
