Help, FORD SVO Injectors

Is it necessary to use the Injector retainer clips when using the SVO injectors?

Thanks

Opinions vary, but I would. On the TPI fuel rail, there's nothing to mechanically prevent the injector from pushing up into the rail and unseating the o-ring that seals it. On the Holley Stealth Ram rails, the injector holes have a seat machined which prevents them from doing that.

There may not be a huge risk of the injectors actually doing this, but with raw gasonline at 40-50psi it's not worth finding out in my opinion.
