Oil Pressure

what would be the normal oil psi durin idle etc for a 350 tpi

Axle/Gears: 9 bolt 3.23
Should be a minimum of 15 PSI. But the old rule of thumb is 10 psi for every 1000 rpm for proper lubrication.

well mine is about at the min my auto meter gauge reads under 25psi at idle how can i increase the oil pressure

my old z28 with a 305 tbi 189,000 used to run around 10-15 psi indicated on the stock gauge. dont know how acurate the stock gauge is, it still ran smooth and never knoked. dusnt meen thats ok! you might want to try runing a heavier weight oil.
