Casting #'s on a 305

Does anyone here know exactly where the casting numbers are on a 305 block. I happen to have one and dont want to take it apart to find out what year it is and if it has a roller cam.

THANX

if its a one peice rear main block, then it has the provisions for a factory roller cam, wether it has one in it or not
one peice rear main is 87 and up blocks, and if it is from a truck it is not a roller cam. if it is a camaro block then it is. not to sure on the full size cars like the caprice, etc.

hope that helps

ps, if you dont know wether it is a one peice main seal then look at the back of the block. one peice main seals have a bolt on adapter that is on the back of the block
