How rough are the "rough cast" runners?

Just bought a TPI manifold setup (a porting we will go...), and the runners that came with it look rougher than the ones on my car. They still look like tubes swedged into a flange, but have almost a "sand cast" looking surface to them. Are these the "rough cast" pieces? Anyone need them if they are?

What you have I believe are Vette runners. I had them with my TPI setup and swapped for a set of smooth so I could polish them.

there are a few pics that give you an idea of what the vette runners look like. They also started putting them on f-bodies in 92 to use up old stock, along with blank LT1 / Sy / Ty style TB plates, and black valve covers.

My 92 came with the blank tb plate! I was always wondering what was with that... thanks Ed!
