CAI/ Ram Air question
wouldnt the ram air design (cut the bottoms of the air boxes off and route ducting to the fog light housings) have the same effect as the CAI setup? its taking in cold air right? and actually, it should be more effective since it has air forced into it, not just sucked in at manifold vacuum. just something i was pondering while sitting in my economics class, instead of paying attention.

Not sure what you mean by "the" CAI setup.
Ram Air essentially isn't though, 99% of the time your engine will suck in air faster than you can "ram" it, so it probably doesn't matter terribly much... they make really good CAIs though.

im guessing that you have a camaro... and if yes, a ram air set up will show an improvment in the butt dyno and will alow for more flow.. but the intake on the camaro has shown that it flows very well. You will feel a difference by just cutting out the bottom of the box out. just dont cut off the lip where the filters sit.
