What is the factory Timing and Degree of my 89 formula

Can anyone help me out with the timing on my car it's the 5.7 350 TPI.......replaced the cap and messed it up. anyone help?

Axle/Gears: 3.45
It should be 6º BTDC.
There should be a sticker under the hood with this info also.
Be sure to disconnect the Tan-Black wire while setting the base timing.

Just changing the cap wont affect the timing, unless you moved the distributor.
Does it run ok? If not, check to make sure you have the firing order right.

The simple things always get us.... did you verify your firing order on the cap? Making sure that you replaced the #1 plug wire in the same spot? If the #1 wire is on the wrong terminal, your timing will be WAAAAAAYYYY off.

Small Block Chevrolet firing order is:

1 8 4 3 6 5 7 2
