Which heads with this set-up...

I did try a search for this and didn't find anything that would really answer my question, so...

I'm currently trying to figure out what heads I should get for my Camaro. It'll be a 305 TPI with all the basic mods (a lot of handling/suspension mods, free mods, full exhaust, etc.), and I've decided to go with the ZZ4 cam. What would be a good choice for the heads? I want something with some good improvement in both hp and torque; the low-mid rpm range is more important for me. What kind of performance gains can I expect to see with these?

check out the world torquer heads, they make 58cc chamber ones that will be cast iron and will provide much much better flow and would get u a large gain with the cam, plus will be cheap, about 320 each

Re: Which heads with this set-up...

You basically have 3 main choices of heads for the 305

1. SR Torquers
2. GM Aluminum L98
3. GM Vortec

I have the L98s and love them a lot.

As for the cam, what are the specs for the ZZ4 cam? I think you could go with a bit more.
