HSR is finished, heres some comments

I finshed installing the HSR today. First off, What a PITA it is to change the FP. As for performance, Id have to say, I didnt really notice anything. It still feels like a TPI but if does let me rev higher. I understand I need to have a computer chip burned to get full potoenial but for right now Im just gonna use my Ed Wright off the shelf chip. The only cons I have with this setup is the difficulty of adjusting the FP and the fact that I had to grind my TB cuz it was hitting the fitting. no biggie though. Oh ya and I ended up getting 4 beveled washers for $2 at the store for the inner intake bolts. They worked perfect.

Bottled, thanks for the help with my sig pic. Why are you having trouble adjusting the fuel pressure? I have the stealth ram and it is not much trouble at all. Where did you mount your regulator?

Glad to hear you got it all together!! I am surprised though to hear you say it is a PITA to adjust fuel pressure. From the looks of it, I think it should be easier than my AFPR on a TPI. I dunno though, mine is still in the box.

I take it you mounted the FPR according to Holley's instructions. I mounted mine the opposite way (adjustment screw facing out, fuel fitting facing inward). Anyway I figured it would be much easier to adjust this way.

Yes I did mount the regulator like the directionssay. I was gonna mount it the other way but I didnt want to run into a problem with the fittings hitting the dist. IROC, do you have a picture of how yours is mounted and what size and angled fittings are you using

I used the 90 deg fitting Holley supplies for the regulator return line. I pointed that fitting about 45 deg downward. I then used Earl's 45 deg -6 AN fitting for the return line. It's kinda hard to see in the pic but you can see the dist cap hold down screw...that's the closest part of the cap the fuel fittings will come close to. The only drawback to this is you may have to remove the dist cap to tighten/loosen that fuel line, but no biggie.

I just finished mine up also today and I would say that it definatly revs higher. I'm running a ARAP from with the injectors set to 23.88 and the fuel pressure set at *** knows what. I definatly need to tune, perhaps tommarow (today I suppose its past 12)

I will get g-tech times as soon as I get it back from a friend.
