Engine Load Question

I have been scanning my car alot getting data for prom tuning. At times my engine load is very high at idle. One time it was 184, another it was 87. Most of the time its 0 - 5. Why would I get such a high reading at idle sometimes? I am using an Auto-Xray scanner. Is the load based on the amount of air comming in through the MAF? If it is it's like 9 gr/sec at idle.

Watch your MAF rate a little closer

LV8 (or engine load) is a variable that takes more into account than simply your MAF rates
