Yet another strange noise
My engine started making this weird noise yesterday. It sounds like a high-pitched squeeling sound but it's coming from inside the TPI system. Any ideas what it might be?

are you sure it's coming from "inside" the TPI system, and not an accessory? Had any work done to the car lately?

Check your coil. My stock coil did that. I replaced it and it went away. If your using the stock coil it is a good excuse to upgrade. That's what I did.

This might be not be typical, but my alterantor started squealing before it died. I couldn't figure out where the sound was coming from no matter where I looked. It wasn't until it died a few weeks later and got replaced that the sound went away.
