what do u guys think

this summer i plan on doing atleast 2 things performance wise to the car, 1) Edelbrock TES headers that are jet coated and 2) Underdrive pulley's

my question is will there be a seat of the pants difference or not much at all, i hope the headers really open up my exhaust, i haven't decided if i will run the y pipe and then just put a straight pipe where the cat was or run true duals.

i figure now 14.4's with a good r/t and 60ft time are possible, hopefully better, however i am not sure of my gears yet. what do you guys think with headers? and then headers and pulley's? and maybe if i get to it headers, pulleys and a TCI Saturday Night Special Torque Converters?

would the TC be a good mod after the headers and pulley's or would something in that price range be a better mod. thanks as always guys

[You should notice a nice difference with the headers. The pulleys will net you a few HP, but I don't think enough to make a significant difference. I would definitely go with a different TC. That will be another nice mod as well. I would look for something in the 2800-3000 stall speed. But that's just me. Good luck.

well i dunno much about TC's but how much drivability would i lose with that high a stall, this is a daily driver(until i get out of college and can restore it and do what i want to it) so i cant loose to awful much.

dont get the pullies.. there more trouble then there worth... def. go with a new TC, i say around the 2400-2600 range... thats should be fine for a daily driver that sees slight track time..
