dirty injectors??

I just got done taking the plenum, runners, fuel rail, and injectors out and the injectorsdon't look right.. I have never had them out before but the bowl where they spray out of is coverd with a build up that is rust colored.. numbers 1,2,7,8 where the worst.. here is a pic of one that was pretty clean and a dirty one.. you can't see it to well in the pick... Do you think I should put in new injectors.. The car has 162,000 miles on it.. Thanks for the advice........

thanks

Thanks, I was going to send them off to get cleaned and not get new ones, and that place is a lot cheaper than the other place I was looking at.. Thanks again.

Hey Dreamstate, Rich at Cruizin Performance is awesome. he knows his stuff and he does excellent. I had the same problem with my injectors, one was leaking so bad the car almost would not start. I now I have them in and they work great, although I am still working to figure out why my car is running rich. I could tell an imediate difference in throttle response and ease of starting with my newly cleaned injectors. It is by far the best $98 i could ever spend.

it could still be running rich because an injector is still leaking, cleaning will stop that on some injectors, but maybe one of yours has a mechanical problem.
